മഷിത്തണ്ടിന്റെ മലയാളം ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് നിഘണ്ടു താങ്കള്‍ക്ക് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടുവെങ്കില്‍, ഈ ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ സമാരംഭം മറ്റു മലയാളികളുടെ ശ്രദ്ധയില്‍പ്പെടുത്താന്‍ വേണ്ടിയുള്ള പരിശ്രമത്തിലാണു ഞങ്ങള്‍.

സാധിക്കുമെങ്കില്‍ താഴെ കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നവയില്‍ താങ്കളുടെ വെബ് സൈറ്റിന് / ബ്ലോഗിന് അനുയോജ്യമായ HTML ബട്ടണുകള്‍ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത് പ്രദര്‍ശ്ശിപ്പിക്കുമല്ലോ? അതിനാവശ്യമായ HTML കോഡുകള്‍ അതാത് ബട്ടണുകളുടെ താഴെ നിന്ന് കോപ്പിചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്.

Now you may find the meaning of a word right from your browser.

This is an open standard search plug-in and will work fine with FireFox and Internet Explorer 7+.

1. Steps to install the plug-in.

Step 1: Click on “Search Plug-in” Link, select the check box and Click on “Add” button

Step 2: You can see it on your tool bar like this…

Step3: Now the plug-in is ready to use.

You may type any word  in the search box and click on Find icon.

2. Advantage of Search Plug-in

+ It is always ON in your browser.

+ you may right click on the word and search like this…

It will work fine with Malayalam words too 

3. How to use other search plug-in 

Click the pull down list menu like in this picture and select the search plug-in you want.

4. How to remove Mashithantu Search Plug-in

Look at above picture and click on “Manage Search Engines” .

And select the search plug-in you want ; click on “remove” button.

Adding a Malayalam Keyboard to the site…! you may click it to get the Malayalam letter you see.

Also you may note a difference in the suggestions box.  Along with the meaning of a word, you can see matching words too.  you may double click it to get its meaning.

ഇടത്തു ഭാഗത്തു മുകളിലായി ആദ്യം കാണുന്ന ചതുരത്തില്‍ മംഗ്ലീഷ് അക്ഷര രൂപത്തില്‍ ടൈപ്പു് ചെയ്യുക. ഉടന്‍ തന്നെ നിഘണ്ടുവില്‍ ലഭ്യമായ വാക്കുകള്‍ മധ്യഭാഗത്തു കാണുന്ന വലിയ ചതുരത്തില്‍ പ്രത്യക്ഷപെടുന്നതാണ്.
ഒരു പദത്തിന്റെ അര്‍ത്ഥം ലഭിക്കണമെങ്കില്‍ “അര്‍ത്ഥം തിരയൂ” എന്ന ബട്ടണ്‍ അമര്‍ത്തേണ്ടതാണ്. നിങ്ങള്‍ റ്റൈപ്പ് ചെയ്ത പദം ഗൂഗിളില്‍ തിരയാന്നായി സമീപത്തുള്ള “ഗൂഗിളില്‍ തിരയൂ” എന്ന ബട്ടണ്‍ അമര്‍ത്തുക.

കൂടുതല്‍ വിശദമായി താഴെ ചേര്‍ക്കുന്നു…

ഇതില്‍ രണ്ടു തരം നിഘണ്ടുകള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

1. മലയാളം പദങ്ങളുടെ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് അര്‍ത്ഥം കണ്ടു പടിക്കാന്‍, Malayalam English Dictionary  എന്ന റേഡിയൊ ബട്ടണില്‍ ക്ലിക്കു ചെയ്യുക. എന്നിട്ടു മംഗ്ലീഷ് കീ ബോര്‍ഡിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടു കൂടി  തൊട്ടുതാഴെ കാണുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് മലയാളം ടൈപ്പു ചെയ്യുക.

2. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പദങ്ങളുടെ മലയാളം അര്‍ത്ഥം കണ്ടു പടിക്കാന്‍, English Malayalam Dictionary  എന്ന റേഡിയൊ ബട്ടണില്‍ ക്ലിക്കു ചെയ്യുക. എന്നിട്ടു സ്മോള്‍ ലെറ്ററില്‍ തൊട്ടുതാഴെ കാണുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ടൈപ്പു ചെയ്യുക.

മലയാള പദങ്ങളുടെ സ്പെല്ലിങ്ങില്‍ എന്തേങ്കിലും സംശയം ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അറിയാവുന്ന വിധത്തില്‍ മംഗ്ലീഷ് പദങ്ങള്‍ ടൈപ്പു ചെയ്തു മുഴുവനാക്കിയതിനു ശേഷം രണ്ട് സെക്കന്റുകള്‍ കാത്തിരിക്കുക. അല്പസമയത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ താങ്കള്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച പദത്തിനോട് സാദൃശ്യമുള്ള പദങ്ങള്‍ suggestions: എന്നെഴുതിയ മധ്യത്തിലുള്ള വലിയ ചതുരത്തില്‍ കാണാവുന്നതാണ്.

അവിടെ പ്രദര്‍ശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങളില്‍ താങ്കള്‍ തൃപ്തനല്ലെങ്കില്‍ അതിനും താഴെ കാണുന്ന No എന്ന ബട്ടണില്‍ ക്ലിക്കു ചെയ്യുക. സമയമുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍, താങ്കള്‍ എന്തായിരുന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നതു എന്നു കൂടി ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്കു എഴുതിയറിയിക്കുമല്ലോ?

A full fledged Malayalam Text Editor and a Spell Checker are in the pipeline.

Nighantu Approach
The text box provided in the left top corner of the page enables you to type Manglish and the suggestion box simultaneously displays the corresponding Malayalam words. Use “Find Meaning” button to get the meaning (if it is present in the dictionary).

You may use Google Search button to search a Malayalam word in Google.

This dictionary is targeted to add 45,000+ words to its database.
