    25 (വലത്തോട്ട്) >> ഉത്തരത്തിന്റെ നാലാമത്തെ അക്ഷരം ഇരട്ടിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നില്ലേ?

    15 (വലത്തോട്ട്) >> Baijo പറഞ്ഞതിനോട് ഞാനും യോജിക്കുന്നു.

    I’m sorry to say this, but I believe the answer to 22D is wrong. In fact the first test tube baby in India was the world’s second test tube baby after Louise Joy Brown.

    4D- A city in Mysore Dist. search ‘tibetan colony’ in Google. or refer Bylakuppe in wikipedia.
    Try different pronunciations.
    26D- A famous informative program in National ‘Doordarshan’ two decades ago. Sponsored by ‘Amul’. Sidharth Kak and Renuka Shahane were the presenters.
    29A- A big river in Maharashtra which shares by three states. Remember the agitations of Medha padhkar regarding a dam.

    I’m sorry, The clue for 3D was very cryptic. My bad. I thought you were struggling with only the last letter. Thats why I just put “Ponnanna” in quotes. Ponnanna–> Ponnu Anna.

    actually i was trying the malayalam version of the name for 3rd and 6th letter. wikipedia also give the same kind of pronounciation. then i could see that it should be pronounced as in hindi…

    the first test-tube baby in india. the Controversies are still going on;
    This answer is correct, as the treatment and the entire test-tube procedure carried out in India for this baby. ( so officially this baby is recognised as first test-tube baby of India) For the other girl, Durga(Kruti Parekh) the treatment was done at UK, but birth at India.

    5A – This was in a previous crossword also, I dont know how to give a good clue, think about magnet etc. and a place in Idukki

    17A – THis shud be very simple. Only nine possible answers, think about the king of gods and a colour

    12D – Think about elephant, king of gods, freedom. Search for biggest mural in kerala (English)

    23D – search for elephant training center kerala and you will get the answer

    on almost all newpapers on Oct 05 covers the news on India’s first test tube baby. I think it clears your doubt. according to Indian (official) records the credit goes to Dr. Indira Hinduja, and Harsha is considered as the first test tube baby in India. (for Durga the treatment and IVF procedure were done at UK, by the same doctors who received Nobel price this year)
