    Dear Anjana/Admin, mistakes in corsswords continue. 1A 3rd letter is utter nonsense. Please, please check your answers. if you dont know malayalam, dont create a crosswrod for malayalaees. how stupid it can get?

    9d, i would like to know which is this country. i coudn’t find a single coutry name, starts with that letter of 9a and having only two syllable. are you sure there is country exists exept in your imaginations? How could the toppers put the answer here?

    There is a countyr called Lesotho, which is completely landlocked by South Africa. But that cannto be written in tow syllables. I am confused

    If we need to do trial and error to find out answer, then we dont need questions, just leave a table and every cell can be solved by trial and error. Anybdy who can develop a software to do a fast trial and error method can win the game

    I support Pradeep wholeheartedly. This is just ridiculous. I’ve been sitting around with that for the last half an hour. I don’t understand how one can change a country’s name? The actual pronunciation is “lih-SOO-too”. So even the answer in the current format is not right.

    9d and 1A 3rd letter. this is utter ridiculous. we can rarely find a single crossword without mistakes. and only those who are good in trial and error can finish
    (who knows whether somebody is helped by some software or hacking? this is just a guess, not an accusation)

    i repeat again, those who do not know how to write malayalam, and those who do not have time and patience to cross-verify their answers, please do not try create a crossword here and waster others’ time.

    കളിക്കാന്‍ താത്പര്യമുള്ളവര്‍ ഒട്ടേറെ…പക്ഷെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കാന്‍ മാത്രം ആരും ഇല്ല. വികാസ്‌, പ്രസീദ്, ധനുഷ്‌ എന്നിവര്‍ മുന്നോട്ട് വന്നിട്ടുണ്ട് എന്നത് ആശ്വാസം പകരുന്നു. അവര്‍ക്ക് അഡ്മിന്‍ സെക്ഷന്‍ പഠിച്ചു വരാന്‍ സമയം കൊടുക്കൂ.

    shanmukhapriya, 15D is not a brand name of a car, but it is the general term given for any car which is stretched to make it longer than original dimensions and have a screen between the cabin for the driver and the passengers

    even dileep chabria made a similar car out of an amby (ambasador)

    1A – മൂന്നാമത്തെ അക്ഷരം – അതൊരു സാധാരണ പിശകാണ്. മലയാള മനോരമ പോലെയുള്ള മുഖ്യധാരാ പത്രങ്ങളില്‍‌പോലും ഈ തെറ്റ് സര്‍വ്വസാധാരണമായി കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നു കരുതി ആ‍ തെറ്റിനെ ന്യായീകരിക്കാനാവില്ല.

    9D – ‘L’ എന്ന ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് അക്ഷരത്തില്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്ന പേരുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ (ആഫ്രിക്കന്‍) ഒരു ലിസ്റ്റ് സെര്‍ച്ച് ചെയ്തെടുത്തു. ഏറ്റവും അടുത്തു നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ഉത്തരത്തിന്റെ പല രൂപങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു നോക്കി. അങ്ങനെയാണ് അതു ശരിയായത്. ഹാവൂ!

    ‘Trial and Error’ രീതി പരീക്ഷിക്കാനുള്ള സംവിധാനം വല്ലതുമുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ എനിക്കു കൂടി വേണം. English പദപ്രശ്നങ്ങളില്‍ ഈ രീതി വളരെ എളുപ്പമാണല്ലോ. 26 അക്ഷരങ്ങളല്ലേ ഉള്ളൂ. മലയാളത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി അതാണോ? എത്ര കോമ്പിനേഷനുകള്‍ പരീക്ഷിക്കണം. ഒരു സ്റ്റാന്‍ഡ് എലോണ്‍ സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയര്‍ കിട്ടിയിട്ടു തന്നെ എന്തു കാര്യം? ബ്രൌസര്‍ പ്ലഗ്-ഇന്‍ തന്നെ വേണം. :)

    എന്നെ കുഴക്കിയത് 4D ആയിരുന്നു. പക്ഷേ, അതും ഗൂഗ്‌ള്‍ തിരഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ കിട്ടി. എനിക്കു തോന്നുന്നത് ഒരു നല്ല ‘തിരച്ചിലുകാരന്‍’ ആയാല്‍ പദപ്രശ്നം വേഗത്തില്‍ പൂര്‍‌ത്തിയാക്കാം എന്നാണ്. 12A, 16A, 26A, 28A, 4D, 7D, 10D, 20D ഇവയെല്ലാം ഗൂഗ്‌ളിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ കിട്ടി! മറ്റു ചിലത് വരിയും നിരയുമായുള്ള ലിങ്കിംഗ് നോക്കി ശരിയാക്കി. ഇനിയും ചിലത് ഊഹക്കളികളും. സൂഡോകു പരിഹരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ ഇത്തരം തന്ത്രങ്ങള്‍ പയറ്റുമല്ലോ!

    രാവിലെ ഒരു ചായയും കുടിചു ഇതിന്റെ മുന്പില് ഇരുന്നതാണു, തുടക്കത്തില് 5th-നു അകമെങ്കിലും പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കാം എന്നു പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചു. പ്രതീക്ഷകള് അസ്ഥാനത്ത് ആയെന്ന് മാത്രമല്ല 98 ല് നില്ക്കാന് തുടങ്ങിയിട്ടു മണിക്കൂറുകള് ആയി!!! 9D തെറ്റാണെങ്കിലും കുറേ പരിശ്രമങ്ങള് നടത്തി ഒടുവില് കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചപ്പോള് ആ തെറ്റായ അക്ഷരം ഇവിടെ പ്രസിദ്ധപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു!! അടുത്ത പരിശ്രമം 15D കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാന് ആയിരുന്നു, ഒരു സൈക്കിള് പോലും ആവശ്യമില്ലാത്ത ഞാന് ഈ ലോകത്തുള്ള സകല ആഡംഭരക്കാറുകളെക്കുറിച്ചും പഠിച്ചു!!!ഉത്തരം കിട്ടിയപ്പോള് 3 പേര് മാത്രമേ പൂര്ത്തിയാക്കിയിരുന്നുള്ളൂ, പക്ഷെ ഉത്തരത്തിന്റെ മധ്യത്തിലെ 2 അക്ഷരങ്ങള് യോജിക്കുന്നില്ല…പലവിധത്തില് trial n error ചെയ്തു നോക്കി തലപുകച്ചു, നോ രക്ഷ!!! എന്നാലും കുറേപ്പേര്ക്കു ഇപ്പോള് കിട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു…അവര്ക്കെല്ലാം അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്!!!6-7 മണിക്കൂറുകള് കഴിഞ്ഞു….ആരെങ്കിലും ഒരു ക്ലു തന്നു സഹായിക്കൂ

    Dear Anish Melan, i do not agree with you regarding 9D, it is the right thing admin revealing 9D wrong answer as otherwise, lots and lots od people would have wasted thier time doing trial and error to reach a wrong answer and majority of them would not have got the wrong answer for sure. i agree with the policy of admin to reveal any mistakes in the crossword.

    But, please dont publish clues before 24 hours as we decided earlier

    ഇത് കൊണ്ടാണ് മുന്‍പേ ഞങ്ങള്‍ എഴുതിയത്. തെറ്റുകള്‍ എല്ലാം അഡ്മിന്‍ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നു എന്ന്‍.
    ജലജ ചേച്ചിയെ എല്ലാവരും കൂടി കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞ ഒരു പദപ്രശ്നം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. (അതില്‍ ഒരേഒരു തെറ്റേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ.)അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് ഏവര്‍ക്കും ഇഷ്ടം. തെറ്റുകള്‍ കേള്‍ക്കാന്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും താത്പര്യം ഇല്ല.

    പക്ഷെ മഷിത്തണ്ട് വളര്‍ന്നത്‌ തന്നെ പല പഴികളും കേട്ടാണ്. അതില്‍ ഒരു കുറവും പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നും ഇല്ല. പഴികളില്‍ നിന്ന്‍ പതിരുകള്‍ വേര്‍തിരിച്ച് മുന്നോട്ടുള്ള പ്രയാണം നടത്തും.

    ആദ്യകാലങ്ങ്ങ്ങളില്‍ ഇതില്‍ ധാരാളം ടെക്നിക്കല്‍ തെറ്റുകള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതായി കേട്ടിടുണ്ട്.. ഇപ്പോള്‍ ആരും അതിനെ പറ്റി ഒന്നും പറയാത്തത് കൊണ്ട് അത്‌ ശരിയായി എന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. അന്ന്‍ തെറ്റുകള്‍ ചൂണ്ടികാനിക്കുവാനും വിമര്സിക്കുവാനും മനസ് കാട്ടിയ എല്ലാവര്ക്കും നന്ദി.

    ഇന്നലെ ടോപ്‌ 5il ല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നതാണ്.. തെറ്റുകളും,അറിവില്ലായ്മയും കാരണം ക്ലൂ ആയിരുന്നു ഏക ആശ്രയം.
    24മണിക്കൂര്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞു ക്ലൂ ഉള്ളു എന്ന് കരുതി രാവിലെ വന്നപ്പോള്‍ ക്ലൂ വും കഴിഞ്ഞു 22 പേര്‍ മത്സരം കഴിഞ്ഞു പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.24 മണികൂര്‍ ഇതിനു മുന്‍പില്‍ ഇരികണം എന്ന് നിയമാവലിയില്‍ ഇല്ല ,അല്ല പറയുന്നത് അലല്ലോ ഇവിടെ നടകുന്നത്.നിയമാവലി പ്രകാരം ഇവിടെ 24 മണികൂര്‍ കഴിഞു വന്ന എനിക്ക് ബോനൌസ് പൊയന്റും നഷ്ട്ടപെട്ടു .
    തിരച്ചില്‍ വിദഗ്ധന്‍ ആയാല്‍ തെറ്റ് ഉത്തരങ്ങളും കിട്ടൂമൊ വികാസേ..

    Thanks for your explanation writings, but I am extremely sorry for the circumstances created due to the mistakes from my side. You know,still I am verymuch interesting to play the crossword. So you do not take any unpleasent decision regarding continuation of the Crossword Competition beacasue lot of contestants like me are participating with very much interest.

    From my side – I will continue my participation with the your “Adventure” always but that is for my own satisfation. Thanks for the all support and co-operation from your side and all other paricipants.

    dear anjana, i am sorry if my comments hurt you, and i withdraw the words like stupidity etc.

    but everybody should understand that playing crossword and creating crosswords are different things. creating crosswords is a responsible task and if we make mistakes, we are liable to listen to criticism.

    I remember in the initial stages, everybody were just pointing out mistakes without criticising much, and all of the mistakes were pardoned by all participants saying ‘to err is human and to forgive is divine’. But when the mistakes repeated several times, patience was wearing thin, not only mine, but most of the other participants’ too.

    Once again, sorry for the harsh language i used.

    as far as I know, mashithantu projects is a dream of a few. they will continue this site till they bankrupt. we can hope for the best.

    ഒരേ ഐഡിയില്‍ കളിക്കാന്‍ പറ്റില്ല. അങ്ങിനെ ശ്രമിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയാണ് നല്ലത്. race condition വരും. ഒരാളുടെ ഉത്തരം മറ്റൊരാള്‍ മായിച്ചു കളയും. so do not open the same crossword in multiple browser with same id.

    പ്രിയപ്പെ|ട്ട അഞ്ജന, തെറ്റുകള്‍ മനുഷ്യ സഹജമാണു…എല്ലാവരും ഒരു പോലെയാകണം എന്നില്ല. ഞാനും പദപ്രശ്നം നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ തെറ്റുകള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു, അപ്പോഴും ഇതുപോലെ വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ കേട്ടിരുന്നു. അഡ്മിന്‍ പറഞ്ഞതു പോലെ “അഭിനന്ദനങ്ങള്‍ ആണ് ഏവര്‍ക്കും ഇഷ്ടം. തെറ്റുകള്‍ കേള്‍ക്കാന്‍ ആര്‍ക്കും താത്പര്യം ഇല്ല”….അതു വളരെ ശരിയാണു, എനിക്കും അപ്പോള്‍ വിഷമം തോന്നിയിരുന്നു….എന്നാലും ഞാന്‍ തെറ്റു വരുത്തിയതു കൊണ്ടാണല്ലോ വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടായതു എന്നതു കൊണ്ടു അടുത്ത തവണ കുറച്ചു കൂടെ ശ്രദ്ധാപൂര്‍വ്വം പദപ്രശ്നം നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചു….നമ്മള്‍ ഒരു പദപ്രശ്നത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് ഇതു പോലെയുള്ള തെറ്റുകള്‍ കൊണ്ട് അതു പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാന്‍ കഴിയാതെ വരുമ്പോള്‍, സ്വാഭാവികമായി നമുക്ക് വിഷമവും ദേഷ്യവും ഒക്കെ ഉണ്ടാകും…എന്നെപ്പോലെ തന്നെ വളരെ ആവേശപൂര്‍വ്വം ഇതില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന ഒരു വ്യക്തി എന്ന നിലയ്ക്ക് അഞ്ജനയ്ക്കും ഇതു പോലെ തോന്നിയിട്ടില്ലേ, അഞ്ജനയും തെറ്റുകള്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി വിമര്‍ശിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്…അതുകൊണ്ട് വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ നല്ല രീതിയില്‍ ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളുക…ഈ മല്‍സരം ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു പോവുകയാണെന്നു ആദ്യം എഴുതിയതു വായിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ വളരെ വിഷമം തോന്നി, എന്നാല്‍ പിന്നീട് തീരുമാനം മാറ്റിയതു വായിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ വളരെ സന്തോഷം തോന്നി!!!ഇനിയും തെറ്റുകള്‍ ഉണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടുക, നല്ല പദപ്രശ്നങ്ങള്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കുക…വിമര്‍ശനങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ലെങ്കില്‍ എന്ത് മല്‍സരം?? ഇനിയും ആവേശപൂര്‍വ്വം പങ്കെടുക്കുകയും എല്ലാവരേയും സഹായിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമല്ലോ, എല്ലാവിധ ആശംസകളും!!!!

    16A – you must have got the first two letters already, the last three lettrs are very common in the names of English Villages / COunties, in the question itself, you can see the last three letters

    24 A – Ishtam without the ‘m’(paryayam of the word ishtam or sammatham)(i dont dont know how the answer and the question relates, i just guess worked)

    15 D – this is not a brand name, but a very long car modified from any luxury car

    25 D – velicham dukhamanunni, thamassallo sukhapradam, answer ends with ‘m’

    15D- Taxi cars in middle east(at least in Saudi Arabia) generally called by this name. or See, wikipedia >Chauffeur.
    25D- see the English word in Mashithantu dictionary.(please remember a Tip mentioned earlier to check English words in Mashithantu for Malayalam synonyms)

    Some more Tips:
    1-Try typing all letters even though it is wrong. you may get one or two correct letters as hints.(I’ve such a lot of examples).
    2-For Kerala male names try ‘chillu’ letters in last cell.
    3-If you have a second part of the answer, type it first in ‘google’ after a space, then press ‘Home’ button (put curser at starting) and try the possible letters one by one slowly and watch for the options appear. You may get a suitable key-word.(For last 3-4 days ‘google’ has an excellent modification of ‘automatic search’ as you type each letter. But it is now available only in ‘google.com’, not in ‘google.co.in’ for searching.)
    4-In Malayalam search make sure all words and letters are correct. Unfortunately Malayalam search in Google is not intelligent and still not easy. A single error will deny you the results.(in English an ‘auto correct’ option will help you.)
    Eg:-in this crossword if you copy-paste നമ്മുക്കു നാമെ പണിവതു (18D) will give you no results. Now try
    it with നമ്മുക്കു നാമേ പണിവതു (corrected the error ‘മെ’ with ‘മേ’) will get you a result.
    5- Try Malayalam using English letters. It also may give you results. In the above Eg: namukku name panivathu -(type in English)will give you some results.
    6- while creating a key-word for Google search, think about the possibility of such a structure/form/phrase is available in some page/website. (‘Google’ always searches for the available contents in a page.)
    Eg:-In (another crossword) clue-കുമ്പിടിയും കേശവന്‍നായരും ഉണ്ണിയമ്മയും will give no results. Modify this as the simple names as കുമ്പിടി,ഉണ്ണിയമ്മ and now you have the results.
    7- Common sense and General Knowledge have no substitutes or short-cuts.
    8- Read more about Google search tips.

    Baijo, very simple, If you got first three letters(that is the first part of the name), try search in google english. spell it correctly and put the other info from the question, australaia, visual artist etc.you will get very easily
